You know why Miller gets a game?
Does what is asked and when he plays you know what you are going to get
Same as I.Maric .you know what you get
The huge issue we have at the moment is that you don't know what you get with Vickery and Riewoldt

Jack sadly that sums it up. Miller playes the role he is given, I lost track of the number of times he actually lead to space last night and got either ignored or had Tyrone running in front of him

Vickery is horribly out of form his effort against Jolly in the final quarter where his "in-action" gifted the pies a goal and snuffed out any chance we had was deploarble. If it had of been a Gus Graham, a Jackson or Edwards who did the same and people would be baying for blood. It was simply a disgraceful effort and if that's what he is going to dish up then back to Coburg. And BTW how he managed to drop that mark from the Deledio pin point lace out pass beggars belief as well

As for Jack  he is simply playing dumb footy. If they want to persist with playing him up the ground then he needs to use his strengths and one of the those is his ability to lead in to open spaces. Personally I wouldn't have him up the ground, I'd be playing him from the goal square telling him to bloody well lead as opposed to trying to take mark of the year every time the ball is kicked to him
I agree WP.
There is no one else available at the moment so we must persist with Miller because he's doing exactly as required at the minute. I'd have him play further up the ground as the lead up half forward. Put Jack deep and have him present from the goalsquare. If he doesn't lead and work his arse off i'd put him in defence on a leading forward to show him what is required.
Vickery needs a plate of my mammas lasagna.... I'd let him know if he doesn't pull his finger out he'll never get another taste of that lasagna again.
The club that keeps giving.

Because they were both sent up the ground in the last quarter.

With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Miller was the only functioning forward against Collingwood. He played his role well.

Vickery and Jack both seem out of form. Jack's right, with Miller as with big Ivan you get consistent effort. Miller creates space and structure which the other two should be able to exploit. Perhaps we are not giving our opposition and particularly the opposition backlines enough credit though. Perhaps our forwards under performance is as much to do with lack of opportunity and the quality of deliver to them. Some of those missed marks by Vickery was embarassing though  :-\

Sad to see the day when Miller was our most in form forward  :shh

Your last comment could be the kick up the backside Jack needs.

No more footy show appearances for Jack either. He is a footballer first and foremost.
