Tigra you're a clown

We're not poo because of miller

Get a clue

It's the dross of the draft that FJ keeps drafting, kids without size or elite traits, and the last of the hacks that Dimma inherited

we have played 2 rounds ffs get a grip will ya

Yep
I agree with what your saying but I don't think you understand my point.
We can all be upset with club for playing below par players like Jackson, Edwards, nahas etc. But some of us still except a second hand reject like Miller and applaud the club for picking him up. It's a cop out. Even the club knows he's second rate as they kept him as a rookie. We all wonder why we are forever hoping just to play finals whilst teams like Geelong and west coast may have one bad season but are straight back up again and aiming for top 4 and a shot at a flag.

It's a bloody disgrace that we are even playing Miller and it throws up many questions.
Why haven't we got a decent young CHF?
If we do why isn't he playing?
Is there still an issue with our recruiting?
Are there problems with our player development?
Why do we accept mediocre players?

These are the questions Geelong supporters arent asking neither are West coast supporters especially since the recruitment of Darling.  But we have been asking these questions for years. Same questions are asked at Melbourne, stkilda, footscray etc.
I for one wont sit here and accept mediocrity at Richmond any longer, i'm sick of it!
Until everyone at the club realise this and demand excellence before we know it we will be rebuilding again with another coach with another 5 year plan.
It's ridiculous that we have him on our list.
The club that keeps giving.

No we have 42 players on the senior list.
Did you think the same of MIni Maric 4 weeks ago.
FFS some people just need to take a step back take a deep breath and re read what they post.
Would they actually submit that same post if they had to submit their real names also.
If the answer is yes to both points then some people have real issues that posting OER can't diagnose.

If the Club thought he was "poo" then they would have flicked him rookie or not

Ever thought for just a minute that maybe just maybe he is at the RFC for more than his playing ability? That the keep him around for his leadership, the work he puts in with the young forwards? The 1%ers he does out on the field that gets missed by so many and don't get recorded as stats because they don't involve taking marks, kicking goals.

Would suggest as a starting you have a look at some vision at some of the marks Jack got last season thanks to Miller creating a block (a non recorded stats) in a contests and you may just start to realise why he is there  ::)

Miller was bought in as a back up and for his leadership, the one thing that has been, and probably still is lacking at the club.

Watching a world cup (bum sniffers) game a while back and they two blokes from different succesfull world cup campaigns talking about the importance of, and how you just cant have too much leadership, about how different blokes would show leadership at different times and under different circumstances and how vital it was to their success.

From dimmas last presser;

"..and when we bought him him we knew he was of high character and great leadship"

"...overall we have been happy with his output but more importantly the leadership he bought to the footy club"

as much as it would be nice to produce KPPs out of thin air, i doubt even JC could perform that miracle. we need to develop them and that takes time, and having the right raw materials to work with. Untill that happens miller will lead by example with his work rate and attitude and keep that seat on the bus warm for a more talented player

The club was too scared to take buddy because he was wayward off field same with Darling both are young and will be champion players and match winners but the club settles on mediocre second string reject players from a mediocre club that didnt want him anymore.

What i'm saying is that there's really no point in taking this type of player when we could have a good youngster that should be getting games under his belt whilst we are building for the next stage of our development as a team.
Jack has been there for some time as has lids as has Newman as has Jackson so called leaders of our club. What are you all saying? They aren't good enough leaders we need a reject from Melbourne to help lead us? That's ridiculous because if it's true we are further away than I expected if those guys in our leadership group aren't enough to lead by example.

I've got a question..
Will Miller be apart of our next finals team?
If it's yes then I think it means we don't have a proper KPP that can take his place and that's unexceptable. We all have known for ages we need one but instead we continue to recruit small players and except hacks like Browne and Graham that just aren't up to it and never will be.
Like I said before when we are already in the finals and our team is ready to take the next step to top four & push for the premiership then you can top up with fringe dwellers from other clubs for insurance purposes. But we are miles away from this. We haven't played finals. We are still battling for a position in the eight.
I think Miller has been good for us but the way I see it the club is going backwards with these types because when or if we ever climb the ladder these guys won't be there and he is taking a spot from a youngster that will be there.

so you think we have enough leaders at our club, even though two international sportsmen who have tasted victory at the highest level possible in their sport believe you cant have enough?

you cant see past the fact he is an average player skill wise and therefore believe he has nothing to contribute. It is quite obvious you will never understand that developing success is more than just natural  talent. This was evident when you wanted a still recovering from injury griffiths to be playing instead of him.

Fletcher is playing his 350 game this week. He debut was in '93 when he was young and raw. Being a ruckman forward he found full back difficult at stages having some of the best full forwards in the game kicking big bags of goals on him.
Essendon didn't waste time with him in the twos. They new he was good and threw him in the deep end. At times he didn't look up to it but his record speaks for itself.
Griffiths looks a beauty. Put him in there and teach him what the big league is all about. He will fail but show him what is required and what the standard must be. I don't see Darling having any trouble at west coast.

Miller does his job.

However he's not the future and whilst I applaud the goals he kicks it doesn't excite me as it wont be around when we are hopefully contesting a premiership.
Go Tigers!

Well done today Brad :thumbsup I watched him very closely today - he competes well, decoys when it is required and is just a highly intelligent and committed forward.
