Footy Barometer - Round 6
From: Herald Sun

RICHMOND

INJURED:
Brett Deledio (knee) available
Matt Dea (broken nose) available
Jake King (knee) test
David Astbury (knee) 1 week
Kelvin Moore (hip) indefinite
Brad Helbig (foot) indefinite

ON THE BLOCK: Not many given the Tigers valiant performance against the top-of-the-table Eagles. Matt White has been the sub for a couple of weeks, so with limited game time could head back to Coburg. But his pace has been an asset late in games, while Matt Dea is another fringe player who could make way should Damien Hardwick opt for change.

ON THE CUSP:  Addam Maric failed to hit the scoreboard but his pressure, tackling and work up the ground impressed at Coburg. Angus Graham was good again in the ruck, while Jake King is close to returning from his knee injury.

SAM LANDSBERGER’S FORECAST: It was nealy Tiger Time yesterday but Hardiwck’s side just lacked that tick of self-belief and polish to put away a top side. They simply must respond with a win against the Power this week, even if it is in Adelaide. A 1-4 record is stiff and the Tigers will be ruing their past two losses against the Cats and Eagles after being in both games until the death.

Out. Houli. Miller.

Houli did a couple soft things.

Jackson is less.bad.in the forward line
 Thanj.god.

Houli was good. Sat in the hole a few times and took courageous marks. and this is coming from someone who thinks Houli lacks a bit of heart

I thought Houli looked soft

I saw him do some good things. Maybe I didn't see the incident(s?) you guys saw? I'd definitely bring it up if I thought he shirked a few

i missed these shirks as well, yet as others have said he did drop back into the space and take some defensive marks knowing he was a chance to get smashed

Only saw one by Houli - for memory it was in the 2nd qtr on the outer wing - he was running to a contest and had some Eagle big bloke can't remember which one (haven't watched the replay) was coming at him; Houli just stopped rather than attacking the footy - happened in just in front of me and have to say it looked bad

yep saw that.disappointed.

as i've already said, he was stopped by an outstretched opponents hand, not because he chose to. watch the replay from about from about 7 minutes to go in the second 1/4.

So are my ways higher than your ways,

Not sure it is that on al but haven't watched the entire replay yet so I can't say 100%,

But the incident I saw he wasnt' stopped by an opponent he stopped & propped on his own before any contact from the opposition.

Will try and watch the rest of the replay this evening

i reckon that incident would have looked bad to a lot of people at the ground. those on the wing would not have seen what happened because the weagle bloke had his back to them and it is hard to pick thing like that up from the other side of the ground.

even on the telly it doesn't look good unless you watch closely
