Reid and Fasolo re-signing must mean the pie (excuse the pun) at Collingwood must be shrinking for Cloke. The Clokes still want a 5-year new deal.

But here's a tip rumours are called rumours for a reason  ;D

And Big Footy rumours are usually so far off the mark so I wouldn't get to too excited  ;D

Finally, one of Trav Clokes manager's outside of Damir is one Ralph Carr who just so happens to be Dustin Martin's manager so Ralph Carr sightings at Punt Road are more liklely to be about Martin than Cloke

Mick Molloy was actually playing around with Eddie this morning asking why Trav's mob were coming to Punt Rd today. Eddie defused it with a shrug and moved on. But as WP said, it may just have been to do with Martin.

I still think we're in the hunt though. Though rumours are just that, if the one about Melbourne are true that they've gone from $7 mill to $7.1mill means he isn't interested and it would be between us and Carlton.

With the Pies locking in Reid and Fasolo now after Beams and co, I imagine the curtains are fallin for Cloke at Collingwood.

Unless Cloke takes Collingwood's offer for 4 years, he wont be there.

They have clearly told him this is the best he is getting, and started to sign other players around that deal (therefore showing him he isn't going to get any better from them).

If he wants 5 years, it will be at either Carlton or Richmond. I can't see him leaving Victoria and it's laughable to think that he would go to Melbourne (although, stranger things have happened and money does talk).

I think we are in the box seat if he doesn't sign, which would be good recruiting via FA if we get both Chaplin and Cloke.

Article in the MX you get on the train had an article with Reiwoldt. He just went on to say his 'happy with Vickery to play alongside but if Cloke decided he wanted to play for Richmond you can't complain, aslong as its not about the money. If its big money his after then Richmond isnt the place to be.'
