Anyone remember that episode of The Simpsons when Ned Flanders squeals in horror when he accidentally kills Maudes pot plant?

That will be PNGNWAT when he reads this thread title
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Answer the question magic...

Hey weren't u the bloke on BIgFooty 2 years ago saying that the club needed to trade deledio to gold coast  for top picks as we were only near the beginning of a 10 year rebuild and that he was therefore too old to play in our next premiership?  :shh
for a while i thought they have been the same bloke too, but the mr magic on big fool started going on some incredulous trips which wern't being replicated on here.

some of those posts about what clubs were going to do in 10-15 years were just flabbergasting.  :P

As for Edwards, i dont see him as bad as most do, but I'd be picking tuck way before him.

As smokey suggests, the entertainment value of this thread should increase greatly when WAT wakes up and logs on

is the comment in the article about him being a defensive midfielder accurate.?

Who has he manned up on in the last month or so?

I suggest people watch the game without any bias in regards to Shane and actually watch the work he does on the field. His running patterns up and down the wings continuously block the opposition from having an outlet option. He does not get much ball playing this role but it is being noticed by the coaches and astute observers sitting in the crowd. His kicking does let him down at times but his creativity in tight spots make up for it.

I have no doubt if he were played as a pure inside midfielder that he would be in our top 4-5 clearance players.

Now I think of it, he will be more like the Michael Douglas dude in that movie Falling Down when he can't get the Coke in the Korean Milk Bar cause the dude won't give him change  :o

Actually I am surprised he only got two more years, I thought three would be more deserving of his ability as a player, maybe even four
