But if and when we play finals will go missing. Too small too skinny. Move on to another club. I've had it with these wannabe hacks playing 1 good game out of 20.  :banghead

......... If that game wasn't a finals-type atmosphere, I don't know what was

He isn't going to play that well every week (what small forward does?) - but looked great.
He created 2 goals from nothing and helped out another 3 or 4 goals.
Personally, I think if can add a better defensive mindset, ie hold tackles then he and Nahas are our small forwards into the future.
Nahas for pace, Edwards for his "in close" work and creativity.
Both need to improve their defensive mindset but have the pohtential
The stuff about being too small is hoey - we have size around them now so it isn't so much of an issue.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

we just gave him a two yr contract extension sheesh craig cameron is a mug.

kicked 3 goals as a small forward rotating thru the midfield. once again did a few nice things along with his usual stuff ups.  still not enough ball and his tackling is ineffective.
based on the essendon game alone he would be a better forward option than both nahas and king. in fact its been my belief for a few yrs now that nahas and edwards are in competition for one spot no way in the world if we want to actually win against the better sides can we play both.
yep to be fair he had a decent game but hes constantly shown good games a few and far between.

been my belief for a fair while now that all of nahas king and edwards must be upgraded on. ive seen absolutely nothing so far this yr to make me change my mind.

Damo, you an Edwards fan? Only position I feel comfortable with him in is as a goal sneak. He was good there as a youngster.

fair call davey. it's a position where you don't need a lot of possessions to do the damage on the scoreboard and would be utilising his strengths.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

He was good there as a youngster.

So you think he was good as a youngster. Honestly, WGAF?
