Masters nice mark in defence. To Clifton to Maric who hits up Gus who gives to maric at break neck speed but he's caught. Turnover. Another goal opportunity mucked up.

O'Hanlon towards Gus who contests well. McGuane crumbs  :o and nails a great goal from 45m on the run :gotigers

Masters off the bench takes the intercepting mark. Goes inside 50 over Gus' head for a throw-in 10m out. Now a bounce 30m out. Hold off the ball and a free to Whitey. Misses  :P

Cob  3.9-27
Coll   2.3-15

When Coburg are going inside 50 we need to lower our eyes. The ball is clearing the leading player.

Coburg got the centre clearance but Collingwood rebound off half-back to set up a shot on goal.

Moore to Cartelli out of defence ends up with Webbs. Goes to Browne marks 55m out. Big Andy finds Clifton inside 50. Doesn't make the distance. A bounce now 30m out. Gus tap down and Verrier snaps a point.

Post intercepts in the back 50. To Moore to Browne to Maric and goes insdie 50. Carnell gathers off the ground. Elton feeds it to Cartelli who also misses.

Grimes marks the kick-in, gives it to a Burger but he fails to make the distance. Pies mark.

He's been reported.

Jack, who is playing on the Pie forward who has kicked all their goals?

Coburg should be at least 7 goals up. Missed a few gettable shots which hopefully doesn't come back to bite them.

Bests:
Whitey - has got a heap of it linking up through the middle.
Elton - has taken half-a-dozen marks on the lead. 3 or 4 of them inside 50. Would be best on ground if he had converted. Has kicked 1 goal 1 behind and 1 OOTF.
McGuane - up forward has contested well when the ball has come inside 50 and kicked a couple of goals.
Moore - general in defence. Had it about 6 times in that 2nd quarter.
Grimes - heard his name mentioned a few times as well marking in defence.
Webberley - his usual self at VFL level getting his hands on the footy. Kicked a nice goal.
Browne - a couple of strong marks deep in defence and well as playing well in the ruck.
Gus - Had one brain fade which gave away 50m but overall is presenting well and feeding the smalls.
Postie - so-so by the sound of it.
Verrier - a couple of touches.
Mini Maric - has had a fair few possies but was caught a couple of times trying to burst his way through traffic.

O'Hanlon has a ping at the start of the 3rd but missed everything.

Coburg gets the turnover from the Pies kick-in. Free to Murphy for too high inside 50. Goal  :gotigers
