Tiger Daniel Jackson will roll the dice at the tribunal tonight.

Jackson had a one-match penalty for striking Adelaide's Chris Knights increased to two by the panel because of the tagger's poor disciplinary record.

The stomach punch in the third quarter was assessed as intentional, low impact and body contact.

Jacko is pleading guilty but wants the charge down graded from "intentional" to "reckless"

Who knows, everything that surrounds this guy is a mystery. Like how he gets a game in the first place, and how a guy so supposedly smart is so dumb on the field.

DANIEL Jackson will miss Richmond's next two matches after the AFL Tribunal upheld his two-match ban for striking on Tuesday night.

Jackson's suspension was not increased by his decision to challenge the Match Review Panel's charge that he struck Adelaide's Chris Knights in the third quarter of the Tigers' loss to the Crows last Saturday.

However, when Jackson resumes playing he will be carrying 82.16 demerit points, but would have had just 11.62 if he had entered an early plea.

Jackson was charged with a level two striking offence against Knights that on its own would have attracted a one-game suspension. But this was increased when his existing bad record - he had previously been suspended four times for a total of seven games in the past three seasons - was taken into account.

Jackson will miss Richmond's clash with Melbourne at the MCG this Saturday and its round 16 game against Gold Coast at Cazaly's Stadium in Cairns.
