Robbo fueling the conspiracy theory on AFL 360:

(Robbo's words! Sue him! not me/OER!)
-both players got back to Connors' place at 10pm
-what did they do after they got home and went to bed?
-both players went to separate rooms and took sleeping tablets
-both players slept in and both players were not woken by alarm clocks

No probs you can repeat what Robbo had said because he's put it out in the public domain - no legal probs there (thank goodness)

Have to say though he hasn't actually said anything that we haven't already been told just making it sound worse than what we've been told

Seriously folks which part of the following do you NOT UNDERSTAND

Final reminder keep the unsubstantiated non-reported rumours off the forum.  That includes rumours using "riddles"

Again you cannot make allegations that are not proven. You leave OER open to legal actions no matter how slim the chance maybe  :banghead

Don't think we are asking too much.

Some of the stuff I've just removed crossed the line in a massive way

Usual suspects keep it up and you can have a holiday - that's how serious this is
Just want to b hero's - really sick of social media, when we win a flag they will Ll be lining up to lick his rs! Was his 21st wgaf, would never of won a flag if this is the way we acted. peeed OFF

One would hope this has not been lost by the playing group and it still is the main aim.

Would writhe in internal pain if we dropped one of the next two or even both given how we have

played this season and how our next two opponents have.

I hear there is some vacancies at mt hotham and bull atm.
The dees supporters can smell blood and are returning in their droves to deast on sturday.
My hope is that by 3 quarter time they will be returning to the ski lodge and I maric will be feasting on the blood of the midfield

Hardwick supports Tiger duo's penalties

Richmond AFL coach Damien Hardwick insists there is no story behind the story of Daniel Connors' sacking and Dustin Martin's suspension.

The pair were punished for arriving late to training on Tuesday - saying they had taken sleeping pills and slept through alarms.

Connors took his own prescription medication, while Martin took a friend's sleeping tablets and had also been drinking alcohol.

Connors has had a history of off-field strife at Richmond, and the 23-year-old's career at the club was terminated on Wednesday.

Rising star Martin was suspended for two weeks.

But the penalties have raised suspicions there may be more to the story than the club has let on - which Hardwick emphatically denied on Thursday.

"That's absolute rubbish," Hardwick said when asked if there was any more information about the incident that had been withheld.

"I asked the blokes straight in the eye what happened, and they gave us the truth."

Hardwick said he believed both penalties were appropriate, and the Tigers needed to take a tough stance with errant players if the club was to reach the heights they wanted.

Hardwick also said he had had no concerns over Martin's off-field behaviour prior to this week's events.

"This club has been in the wilderness for 20 years and we've got to do everything better than everyone else to get back where we need to belong," Hardwick said.

"We make no apologies for the hard stance."

The duo's sanctions will test the Tigers' playing stocks ahead of their clash with Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday.

Richmond were already without injured Jake King, Dylan Grimes and Tyrone Vickery, while midfielder Daniel Jackson was suspended by the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday for an on-field incident.
