WHERE DOES MCGUANE PLAY? He'll play forward as he has at Coburg this season.

IS SATURDAY THE DAY THAT DIMMA NEED TO SHOW US THAT WE HAVE A 'PLAN B'? Hopefully we don't won't need a plan B tomorrow against the likes of  Melbourne. Midfield battle for the contested footy will be the key. Dimma's going to have to rotate a few through the middle who haven't spent much time in there so far this year.

WHO GOES THROUGH THE MIDFIELD THAT DOESN'T USUALLY?...maybe RANCE?
Not Rance as he's a tall defender. The likes of Conca, Titch, Nahas, Newy, Whitey, A.Maric and prehaps even Morris as a hardnut inside. Add them to the usual crew left in Cotch, Lids, Tuck and Grigg. We'll need a big game from big Ivan as well so we get first use from centre clearances and around the stoppages. Defensively in the midfield we need to force Melbourne to stop and prop and either go sideways or kick down the line as we did in round 3 so we can force turnovers and hurt them on the outside.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
