A is for......................
« on: April 27, 2005, 09:03:04 AM »
It is time for another word game............... :rollin

A is for Amputate which is what I am going to do to Mark Coughlan's left foot if he continues to kick with it when he is under no pressure. Far too many don't hit the target  ;D

A is for Attack which you not only have to do to the ball but the contest ;) ;D

A is Audi a very nice looking car that I cannot afford ;)

A is for Aggression - which is why I like young Foley our rookie he attacks every contest with great aggression

A is for ANZAC day which shouldn't belong to only Collingwood and Essendon because history says that the biggest ANZAC day crowd was in 1982 at a Tigers -v- Essendon game. 92,000 plus :shh

A is for Apathy.

The way our players played, like they didn't care.

I feel for any supporter who, like myself, went to the Dome on Sunday.

I knew it wasn't going to be my day when on my first visit to the Dome I was told my tickets were in a forward pocket but were actually behind the posts..... Next to the Saints cheer squad. :help

Oh well .........spent the day standing with some nice tigers supporters I met  :thumbsup and drinking mid-strength  :banghead

Chin up to the little tigers supporter (3 or 4 yrs old) crying and distraught that we made his Dad take him home in the third quarter, I know how you feel.

Well done to the two Tigers players who managed to hit a target on the day.

Anyway had a good time in old Melbourne town have to get down again soon. :cheers

A is for Adelaide, where Richmond go to get flogged. One day soon I'll return to Melbourne to live, but in the meantime I'd like to see the Tiges win one here - or even just try to win one.

Good to see people getting into the spririt of things :rollin

=======

A is Average which is the nicest possible way to describe the standard of umpiring so far in 2005

A is for Adrian Anderson who has given us a reporting/tribunal system that is asinine because it allows a player that gets suspended to win the Brownlow but disallows a player that doesn't get suspended the right to win the the said Medal :banghead

A is for Assemble which is what we all do regularly here at OER to discuss all things Richmond :thumbsup

A is for Asset and this week one of clubs best assets finally plays his 200th game -  ;)

A is for Alias which is what we all have here in cyberspace land :rollin

And......

A is for Abbott in this case Les who played 31 games for the Tigers in 1910-1911 and makes this list because he is the first player named in the A-Z encyclopedia of Richmond footballers ;D
