Take out Caddy and Parker and your struggling to find any one older than 22.

Keep saying it if we want our twos to be competetive we should have gone out and got a few mature types who can lead the kids there and be good depth for the seniors in areas we lack depth.

Have not seen the game just going by reports but if the likes of Martyn Dow and RCD struggle at this level how the hell do people expect them to succeed at afl.

I’d panic.

Collier-Dawkins is a bust as I expected.

Or how you seem to desperately want him to be?

No offence intended but even when he played well last year in the seniors you criticised him. I'd even suggest (perhaps unfairly) that you've been critical of him since he was drafted

It seems like you want him to fail. Not sure why.

He will be a very good player I have no doubt. He should be playing seniors ahead of the likes of Aarts.

Perhaps it's all about seeing what we want to see. Sometimes you need to take the blinkers off preconceived views and start a fresh. Personally, I didn't rate Baker and I now know I was wrong, so very wrong. Took the blinkers off and started to see what others saw and were telling me

Try it
Your right WP, I have definitely been super critical of him. Mostly because I don’t rate him. He had some good games like that vfl gf but I have seen nothing from him to get really excited about.

Unfortunately for him though it’s been tough not getting a decent run through Covid.

Look, I’d be stocked if he proves me wrong and it wouldn’t be the first time for me either

The issue I have is that there have been really obvious opportunities for him since being drafted to put his hand up but he had failed to do that time after time.
We all know the VFL is a poor competition in comparison and he is a big bodied mid and the part of the game that he needs to excel in is getting the footy. If a mid consistently struggles in VFL to get the ball that’s not a great sign.

Since then he has been passed over by the coaches on multiple occasions choosing to select players ahead of him. Why?

Even before this game we all knew we need mids especially those who have had some preseasons to start to make the step up.

Difference with guys like Kennedy is that the vfl is easy for them but that doesn’t seem the case for RCD.

So how was his practice game on Thursday?  Anyone see it? I didn’t.
The club that keeps giving.

I didn't see it but I was told RCD struggled to get from contest to contest. I wonder his ribs [sorry not hip] are still troubling him. It's annoying as he was flying pre-Christmas. I know this will sound like just making excuses but injuries look to have stuffed up his year so far.

RCD looked sore. Definitely wasn't right.

I think the bruising around the ribs still isn't 100%

Having had cracked ribs with pretty bad bruising to go with them can say it takes a while to fo fully recover

Five Tigers will this year lead Richmond's VFL side, spearheaded by recently-appointed captain Lachlan Street.

The 2022 VFL leadership group has now been finalised, with Angus Hicks, Bailey Henderson, Brad Melville and Nathan Oakes joining Street at the helm.

Currently in 9th with Frankston next week. Teams 1 win ahead of us seem to have to much % to make up to get over the top of them. So only realistic way to make finals is to win our game and have the blues currently 8th and level on points with us to lose to the pies.
