New Richmond development coach Andrew McQualter will continue his playing career, as a member of the Tigers’ standalone VFL team in 2014.

Is that Alroy Gilligan in the background training with the VFL squad?

You get on here and complain about how the club keeps taking away from your membership yet here they go giving more.  I just don't know who to believe any more!   ;D

Well they actually have taken away an offsite function (season launch) and replaced it with this one at the ummm... ME Bank Centre  ;)

So I could mount a case that they've yet again taken something away but I wont  :rollin

 ;) ;) ;D ;D

Paul Amy @PaulAmy375

Two-time Casey Scorpions b&f James Wall has signed with Richmond's VFL squad. Won Tatura's top trophy this year. Experience handy for Tigers

Since we talking about the VFL IMHO the AFL or the VFL should help the old Fitzroy people put together a team for the VFL called the Fitzroy Lions and let them play games at there traditional home (whatever that was) I wouldnt also mind seeing an old club like Prahran FC get back in just for good old  times sake. Remember the old VFA days when Phillip Gibb and co were doing the commentary and VFA footy was great. The thuggery going around was just beautiful to watch especially games involving Port Melbourne, Prahran, Geelong West Williamstown and Coburg. Great days and Great Memories.

Loved it when BT was at Prahran -  the amount of poo we used to heap on him was priceless but in all fairness he was a dynamo at giving it back. Who remembers him on league teams 3UZ late at night with keka? Monday, Tues, Wed and Thurs from 11-12. Me and my mates used to call him and give it to him over the phone as well and keka would be peeing himself in the background

I remember, as a very young kid, travelling to the Brunswick St. oval to watch the Tigers play the Lions.

That may have been the traditional home of Fitzroy.  It seemed to be about as big as a postage stamp
