Didn't know Wall retired.......was one of our few good VFL listed players....

Ballard should be huge addition though....wouldn't be surprised if he earned a spot on another AFL list at the end of the year.....was genuinely concerned Essendon were going to nick him as a top up.....

Wall is playing for Southern Districts in the NTFL

No mention of James Wall ,probably our best performed VFL player in the last 2 years retiring .

Also no mention of Tyson Thomas, Matt Troutbeck , Justin Van Unen or James Fletcher joining us

Tyson Thomas decided to play local footy with his mates a decision he made a few months ago.

cheers, I see Matt Troutbeck played in the VFL intraclub  yesterday

I was there for the whole game.
Morris was very good I thought and will replace Conca no worries.
Ellis did well on the outside but for him to become that player we need he needs to win the contested ball. He is second to the contest and at times uncompetitive. At AFL level that will make him a liability. He is so young so plenty of time but I think perhaps its time somebody tells him its time to contest son. Stop spectating or you will end up like Pettifer.

Must be a trait of that surname....Geez I hope not ...last thing we need is for Ellis to be just another Ellis....

Callum Moore surprised me. A serious talent in my opinion.
Batchellor was ordinary.
Elton struggled with the wet conditions.
McBean was fair to good.

It's like he has been renamed - "Elton Struggled"

Sorry, you misunderstand me. I meant that the word "struggled" has been written after Elton's name so often it's as if his name is actually "Elton Struggled"
The club that keeps giving.
