nah, they've got a winning culture that we could only aspire to
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yahweh? or the great Clawski?

When was the last time a side started the year winning 8 of their first 9 games and then missed the finals? Right now the Dons look cooked!

'Golden boy' Hird is a protected species though so Bomber supporters and the media will go soft on him.

Bomberblitz is in meltdown though  :lol

Just got home from the dome. Worst performance since Sheedy left. It was utterly disgusting and embarrassing. What made it worse was watching Cyril put on a master class of deliciousness to remind us how poor the decision was to take Myers.

We are not good enough, no midfield, no defensive skills, poor disposal, not fit enough not strong enough. I think it's safe to say our list is ordinary very very ordinary. Even with a new coaching panel, bigger football spend new fitness weapon, it lOoks like we have gone nowhere since Knights. You cant make a silk purse from a sows ear. We've polished the turd and it's still a turd. TRB have to trade some talls to get some mids. I really hope im wrong but I think we need to bottom out and start again

The last time I left game as early as I left tonight was the 1983 grand final and even then I lasted until after 3 quarter time. Tonight was spineless and insipid. Guys (yes you Jetta) looking at scoreboard replays when free kicks were given against them while their opponents played on; Monfries sulking after missing a goal while his opponent runs into space and receives the kick out; Hille looking at his man instead of the ball; Heppell doing dinky up and down kicks instead of spearing it. Injuries are no excuse for lack of commitment and basic footy smarts. WTF!!!

At the moment we are no better than under Knights in terms of defensive effort and basic set up in the centre square. We've been out-coached more times than not starting with the Sydney game. Good chance we will miss the 8.

Biggest problem of the night though was Hird's coaching. He has learnt nothing from last year's game against the Hawks. You simply do not push players spare between the HB line and centre and let the Hawks have a loose man from down back when they have the ball in their hands from a mark/free kick - they kill you with their footskills as they did all night. Yet Hird refused to deviate from a failed game plan right to the end. I think it was after the Monfries easy miss in the last I count 7-8 marks back & forth after the and then up the ground after the kick-out that ended with Roughead for a mark at 45m and goal. That play summed up the night.

They need the Midas 10 point service check also.

Apparently their missiles have been pointing in the wrong direction also.

Hird oops I mean Bomber Thompson won't be sacked.

It will be an open admittance that the war machine has failed and that the soldiers are not cracked up to what they should be.

For now they will still sell dreams to the masses.
