Vice President Maurice O'Shanassay is now taking the stage. President Gary March passes on his apologies as he is in London currently wrapping up work with the Olympics.

He is currently mentioning the great supporter base, the 53,000 members and that we are the envy of most clubs with our supporter base.

And he has just announced that we recently passed the $6 milllion mark of the Fighting Tiger Fund, which is an amazing effort.

As a result of the FTF we will wipe off another million in debt, we will get a new Punt Road Oval, we will be active in free agency and have a new reserves team in 2014.

And he's just thanked CEO Brendon Gale for his efforts this year as well.

Maurice is saying that we no longer accept those close losses, we were filthy with losses to Geelong at Geelong and West Coast. The mindset of the footy club is changing for the better.

He's now acknowledging the retirements of Kel Moore and Brad Miller, as well as Chris Newman who has been a long serving captain of four years.

Dimma is now at the podium, hes speaking from an iPad though so give him a second...he's not great with technology.

"The reality is we werent good enough, we had our chances but we couldn't get over the line. It hurts all of us, but there are many positives to take from this year"

"Brandon Ellis showed he will be a long term player for this footy club, the second year players in Batchelor, Conca and Helbig showed they have improvement and we look forward for them to continue improving"

"In defence, Alex Rance and Dylan Grimes improved again. Up forward, Jack "bloody" Riewoldt was a real presence, often going against 2 or 3 opponents and won his second Coleman Medal"

"Jake King provided great leadership and hardness....and not much height ( a standard Jake King gag)"

"We had a player in Trent Cotchin take his game to a new level that we havent seen in a long time".

"Shaun Grigg had his best AFL season to date, as did Shane Edwards. And how can we mention the midfield without mentioning Shane Tuck...Tucky had an outstanding season, his resilience and toughness is outstanding"
