Our defensive work today has been terrible. Both forward and back. Freo should be way further in front we've been that bad.

We can't clear it our of backline either which is giving them plenty of shots.

Last couple of weeks may have made the coaching staff think again about keeping him as back-up insurance but today should see his papers stamped.

These umps have NFI!

And we don't have anyone who can take a contested mark, anywhere on the ground.

White has the ground speed on Sandilands and then falls over  :scream. Another with his papers stamped. Turnover costs us a goal.

Getting ugly on the scoreboard now.

It wasnt just the slip either, it was the lack of awareness that he had enough to take him on, instead he tried to stop and prop and then slipped

Gotta ask the question about the deliberate paid against Postie.  What option did he have?

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Summed up Muscles by the number of marks their defenders have taken.

Duffield 9 marks
McPhee 9 marks

McGuane has missed from point blank range. Dropped the ball under no pressure and hits the post  :help  :rollin.

Think Post has had a solid game by his standards.

Lucky they've missed a few otherwise this would be a 10 goal loss. 29 shots to 15.
