Brisbane insists it is still in the hunt for Queenslander
Kurt Tippett.
Brisbane National Talent Manager Rob Kerr ruled out offering out-of-sorts forward
Patrick Karnezis as trade bait. Karnezis won the club's rookie of the year gong in 2011 after a spectacular start to his AFL career but had a largely forgettable year in 2012 when he spent most of his time in the reserves. The 20-year-old is from a tight-knit Melbourne family and is understood to occasionaly suffer from homesickness. But he is contracted to Brisbane for another year and will not be put on the table as part of the package for Tippett as he is considered a required player for 2013.

Josh Caddy its No 1 target this month and may not be in a position to accommodate Melbourne free agent
Jared Rivers until it settles with the Gold Coast midfielder.
St Kilda is also making noises about acquiring contracted West Coast key-position player
Mitch Brown, but that will not be happening, according to Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett.
West Coast's
Koby Stevens, who wants to return home to Melbourne for better opportunities, has attracted interest from several Victorian clubs, headed by the Western Bulldogs.

Cameron Pedersen The former rookie, who turned 24 this year, fell down the pecking order this season despite consistent VFL form. While he is under contract for next season, the Roos would move him for the right draft pick.
Player manager Carlos Da Coast said for
Sharrod Wellingham - "There is no Melbourne - it's always been Collingwood, West Coast and Freo".
