Chelsea up to 3rd ...

Manchester City   1 - 0   Wigan Athletic
West Ham United   2 - 2   Manchester United
Fulham   0 - 3   Chelsea
Arsenal   0 - 0   Everton

Cardiff City have been promoted to the EPL next season. So there'll be two Welsh sides.

Wigan beat West Brom to still keep their chances of staying in the EPL next season alive. They are now just two points behind Sunderland and three points behind Newcastle (who have played a game extra).

Fulham   2 - 4   Reading
Norwich City   1 - 2   Aston Villa
Swansea City   0 - 0   Manchester City
West Bromwich Albion   2 - 3   Wigan Athletic
West Ham United   0 - 0   Newcastle United
Tottenham Hotspur   1 - 0   Southampton
Queens Park Rangers   0 - 1   Arsenal

In the Championship, Hull City have won promotion along with Cardiff City up to the EPL next season. The third and final promotional spot will be fought out between Watford, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Leicester City.

Wolves by the way have be relegated down to League One (the old third division) while financially-in-strife Portsmouth who were also in the EPL only a couple of years ago have now be relegated down to League Two (4th division).

Fairytales still come true in the FA Cup.

Wigan scored a injury-time winner to beat Man City 1-0 and take home their first major trophy in their 81 year history.

Newcastle and Norwich winning overnight makes it now tough for Wigan to stay up. They are now 4 pts behind the rest and if they lose to Arsenal on Tuesday they'll be relegated.

Stoke   1 - 2   Tottenham
Everton   2 - 0   West Ham
Fulham   1 - 3   Liverpool
Norwich   4 - 0   West Brom
QPR   1 - 2   Newcastle Utd
Sunderland   1 - 1   Southampton
Man Utd   2 - 1   Swansea City

In the Championship, Watford has made it through to the playoff at Wembley for the final promotional spot.

At least they won the FA Cup.
Arsenal are on course for Champions League qualification and denying their North London rivals in Tottenham so I expect them to beat Wigan and send them into The Championship.

As you predicted Tucky. Wigan will join QPR and Reading in the Championship next season.

Reading   0 - 2   Manchester City

Crystal Palace plays Watford in two weeks time at Wembley to find out who gets promoted along with Cardiff and Hull up to the EPL.

Aussie Mile Jendinak has captained Crystal Palace up into the Premier League. 39 year old Kevin Phillips scored the penalty in extra-time to give Palace the 1-0 win.
