matt rendell are we looking at him.

was reported in todays paper that 2 afl clubs are looking at rendell i sure hope we are one.

while francis jackson has done a decent job i firmly believe we can and must do better. i would even go so far as to pay enough money to have both men working together.
recruiting is your life blood and rendell is very highly rated by all.

I hope we are looking at him too but didn't he take on a coaching role with the SANFL under-18s  last week? Heard he was looking after their KPPs.

And I agree, I'd like to have him AND FJ, no point diminishing recruiting stocks. Rendell is also a very good coach.

If Rendell doesn't end up here I will go bananas, and if he ends up somewhere like Melgawn or the Bummers i will deadset vomit rocks

Get him on board. Tell me this is Helmut's last year? Or did he get another 5 year deal? Grant to run the show :clapping

Yep he is working with the SA Under 18's squad at the minute - was in yesterdays or Tueday's Age for memory. But it read as it being only a short term thing

Serious question could he be employed by say us and not have to re-locate? Reason I ask is what if he doesn't want to uproot his family again?

why the fascination with a bloke who traded for tambling, who by then everyone knew was not going to make the grade?
that was a bigger mistake than drafting him in the first place. at least he was highly regarded when drafted

It was my understanding that Craig was the one at Adelaide who was super keen for Tambling, Rendell just got the deal done.
I hope Richmond is seriously looking at his services.

You'd think there would be a way around it considering his job should be mostly looking around the country for talent so could just pop in once ever X weeks
