Yep, rate him highly and although it is very common for athletes to cop a soft tissue after a long layoff I think he will be taken around the back of the shed because the dog just won't hunt.

Might be minor?

Aim for a proper pre-season.

Wouldn't have played him this year anyway.

Guy might have just been devo because he wanted to play an AFL game this year/recent return etc.

Should never have picked him to begin with

A million dollars?

Please he isn't on $500k a season

But after 3 seasons here he'd be close to it WP. Played 4 games out of 43 for the club so far. Quite damning.

He's out of contract this year isn't he?

So using Angus' numbers he is supposedly on $500k a year.

And even if he has another year to go $300-$350k a season would be reasonable.

Problem has been the injuries.

And I think to whack the bloke for suffering the knee injury he did is harsh. It was freakish injury, shocking dislocation that damaged the ligaments. Not exactly his fault.

As for this season, well how the club could not put him for scope earlier rather trying to manage the pain well was....actually quite normal in light of what we've seen this year

To be fair the knee was just a freak injury that no-one could predict and he was looking very good at that stage.

Maybe so WP and in part I agree but given the fiasco with Dusty last year and with a few blokes of the calibre of Cotch, Ellis and Dusty out of contract the gamble in selecting him has not paid off IMHO.

PS I thought he signed for three years. I stand corrected if it is confirmed at two. :thumbsup

He's on about 150k plus match payments from memory. So he's on about 150k.  :lol
