Next up is Push-up.

Kingy had a mainly injury as well as suspension-interrupted season playing all up 12 games in 2012 to take his career tally to 87. After missing round 1 due to suspension carried over from last year, Kingy injured his knee against Collingwood in round 2 and missed the next 3 games. Upon return he played in 4 wins out of 5 including wins over Sydney, Hawthorn and St Kilda before being suspended for a week for tripping Milne. Another injury to his knee against Adelaide sidelined him for 3 matches. He returned against Carlton and played in the next 4 games before breaking his foot against Freo which ended his season. As far as his on-field performance as a small forward, Jake kicked two bags of 3 versus Hawthorn and Fremantle in Perth plus two lots of two against Port at AAMI Stadium and the Bulldogs in round 20 where he had his only 20 possession game for the year.

To me it seemed he played further up the ground which didn't suit him because of his average skills. Needs to stay close to goal putting pressure on and getting cheapies.

another very ordinary season we are going nowhere with smalls who have kings skill set.
supporters love him though but they have always been over the top with the ordinary ones who try hard.

Missed him hugely when he got injured....Adds the defensive forward pressure that at this point in time nobody else can.

Would think the argument can be made that we are a better team defensively up forward when Kingy is playing

Was the abetted the spell check on your iPhone misbehaving?

Abbetted is a good way to describe Jake's play.

Maybe the iPhone is smarter than we think?

Was superb against hawthorn, apart from the start v crows he was average at best. Im a kingy fan so ill give benefit of doubt that injuries plagued him ....heres to a poistive start in 2013 he seems to be a vital cog

Actually surprised he tried to play through a broken thumb. That was the first injury and he played for a number of weeks with it

Hindsight being what it is probably shouldn't have let him  ;D

Greg's dad said we don't win when he doesn't play. Should be vice captain ahead of the underachieving overrated Deledio.
