we have a plethora of med sized backmen and just three medium sized forwards including petterrd. yet we decide to play such a poorly skilled player in defense. give me mcintosh  dea or even play vlastuin  down back anyday.
no wonder we cant take the next step. the plethora of players with below standard skills is getting back to the 2009 model richmond.i suppose the  redeeming features hes good in the air and a decent size for his height.

The kid has played 5 games hardly earth shattering.
His game v Collingwood was noteworthy for all the wrong reasons.

Batchelor is a better mark. Petterd's game against Collingwood was woeful. Agree deserves a chance. Needs to produce a blinder against suns if he plays.

Geelong are suffering this week from a major dilemma on who to rest from the senior team and whether or not they should bring in the likes of Varcoe, West, Smedts, Vardy, Rivers or Horlin-Smith. 

When we are still having discussions on whether or not Pettard plays we are still a fair way from the better teams.
