If he is as good as those players I mentioned + he has fantastic stats and all that other rubbish, why is he not the greatest player in history? The purpose of a key defender is to shut down an opposition forward. Sorry, but Rance couldn't beat my dead nan in the air let alone the best forwards in the comp. Glass, Lake, Taylor, Richards, Rutten, Gibson etc all do a much better job. To suggest otherwise is madness
I'm not even against Rance. He's improved and is solid. But stuff me, to suggest he is as good or better than blokes like Lake & Glass is insane
