Footy Classified Special - Thurs 9.30pm
« on: February 06, 2013, 10:35:25 PM »
Footy Classified is airing a special first show back for the year tomorrow (Thursday) night at 9.30pm.

More explosive relevations to be revealed apparently although they always say that with Hutchy on the show and Barrett ferreting around to score scoops for him.

Matthew Lloyd has replaced Grant Thomas so he'll no doubt try to defend Essendon over this while Caro digs into the Bombers and the AFL.

Thommo would be good value tonight. Hopefully Lordo isn't too defensive

Yep, he would have gone to town on Demetriou.

... More explosive revelations from hutchy as he had a cocktail of sauces from maccas in his custom big mac, Caro does not want to sit near him tonight.
Meanwhile at the local tip, Damian Barrett has just completed renovations on his home

Hutchy and Barrett were jabbed by some hyperdermics while crawling around in the bins behind Windy Hill...

They reveal the effects these needles have had on them.

And you may not think I care for you

People really do love James Hird. No one on the panel tonight wants to believe he's stuffed up at all.
They had no problem getting into Bomber Thomson though, inferring that Bomber has too much influence and really runs things. It was embarrasing.

Skimmed over Hird's recently revealed previous association with a convicted drug dealer whilst he was still a player. Spoke about this for 20 seconds.

I've always admired Hird as a player. Was very jealous that we didn't have a player like him at Richmond. But as journalists they were very soft on him tonight.
Patrick Smith, as much as I dislike him, never let's up no matter who they are.
The club that keeps giving.

The only original news was Caro saying she believes Melbourne will be charged by the AFL along with Dean Bailey and Chris Connolly. She was unsure if Brendan Schwab would receive any punishment.

The rest of the show was just an overview of the whole Essendon saga and drugs in sport generally. The only thing Lloyd said was Dean Robinson had to go but he had that view due to all the soft-tissue injuries Essendon had before all this doping saga blew up. The rest of them took aim at Bomber Thompson (for bringing along Robinson and Dank to Essendon) and Essendon CEO Ian Robson as the buck stops with the CEO of any organisation. Lloyd said Thompson was a good coup to help Hird as coach but then agreed it's basically time for Hird to lose the training wheels after 3 years. They also mentioned talk of Bomber players suing their own club if it's found they were given banned substances despite being told the contrary.

Caro and Lloyd in the one show, no wonder Coach hasn't surfaced this morning

Probably stuck a cardboard cutout of Grant Thomas' head over Garry's and then away he went
