We had about 4 inside 50s in the past couple of mins but couldn't score. Hawks counter and Spangher goals after Rance slipped over.

Dusty to Lids to Whitey who marks just outside 50m. Well worked as we had 6 on 5. Hits Jack on the lead. From 49m doesn't make the distance. Throw-in in the pocket.

Jack tackles Lewis top of the square. No free. ball-up.

Rance now outside 50. Out to Ellis. To Griffs. Goes for the 9-point bomb. Misses.

The problem is the forward kick. If you go inside 50 3,4 or more times and don't score it drags the various lines too up the ground leaving space behind. Still need to work on our efficiency going inside forward 50.


What a joke umpire. Okay it was there but the last 6 similar tackles weren't paid.

Sloppy play by both sides. Cotch gave it straight to Mitchell. Sets up a shot for the Hawks. Thankfully it's missed.

Kick out to a contest is won by the Hawks and they goal.

This is a repeat of the first quarter. Momentum has swung to the Hawks as we've tailed off our workrate and not made the most of our forward forays.
