I think they put a plate in and wait until the swelling goes down in the face before he can play again. They said on the news Joel will miss two weeks. Didn't Richo go through the same thing a couple of years ago?

Joel said on Ch 7 tonight that he only hopes to miss the one game, i think Richo only missed the one from memory.

As previously stated, it will depend on the swelling.

It is also believed that Hyde's helmet may have saved him from greater damage.

Here here fOx - I wasn't a great fan of Joel's and some of my friends cant stand him and will never forgive (Stubborn Prix).
He will be a huge loss this week as the dees have some good smallish forwards which we will have to find another player to cover.
The thing being Joel has been doing this but also driving the ball forward many times with a lot more accuracy than in the past.
