Richmond: A Litany Of Failures

"The best place to be is when expectations are high," declared Richmond coach Damien Hardwick last weekend after his side announced themselves as a contender in 2013 with last Sunday's 72-point win over the Western Bulldogs.

Worse was to follow as the Tigers lost eight of their first nine games to effectively end Terry Wallace's tenure at the club there and then. From such high hopes, Wallace eventually stood down midway through the season to be replaced by Jade Rawlings, an out-of-depth coach who appeared to be cannon fodder for the Tigers administration, allowing them to disgracefully turf him on the scrap heap following a terrible loss to West Coast in the final round.

Worse was to follow??

It was the best thing that has happened to us in a long time.

There seems to be plenty of fear out there at the moment. When opposition supporters need to point to the past to try and bring us down, we must be going well enough in the present to be giving them a few concerns  :whistle :gotigers

He sure put a lot of work into his pissy article and tried to be really cutting.  Seems like a really petty, angry little prick.  Spose it is better he writes his dear diary articles instead of beating his wife every time his team stuffs up, the way the tankers are going she would be in for a rough winter.

so u say they are all Greek hey

must all come from Crete

just like our afl chief Greek cypriot cretin all the same

An Italian Carlton supporter pfft !

Yep just another Italian Carlton supporter who cant accept that the Tiges are a bigger sporting club than their Italian backed rabble club. Pfft.  :gotigers

lol  everyone knows deep down every Greek wishes they were Italian or Macedonia.. just like   Alexander the great lol

No one denies Alexander was Macedonian as Macedonians were Greeks just like the Athenians or Spartans and other greeks from other parts of the greek empire from ancient times. Your gonna have to do a better trolling job next time and one more thing The Romans tried to be and act like their Ancient Greek Heroes. In effect the Italians have been trying to be like Greeks since bloody the world started. ;D
