Richmond - King of the kick-ins (afl site)

We've gone from 10th last year to 1st this year in scoring from our kick-ins. We're scoring from every four kick-ins as a team. It gets even better if it's Houli taking them. He's taken 12 kick-ins and we score from every three of them.

Interesting to see Collingwood lead the league (34.4) at bring the ball into their attacking midfield (between center square and F50 arch) while we only achieve the same distance (13.9%) of the time. May mean that Collingwoods second kick is generally much longer and more direct than our own and that they go long down the boundary while we try and use a shorter kick back into the center corridor or switch play across the D50.

Good to see we are getting good results from hanging onto the ball longer.
