RFC Supporter Groups

Our local Supporters Group passed on some info today that might be of interest:

Hi All,

I am very pleased to let you know that the money raised by the RFC Supporter Groups last year was spent in a very productive manner. The football department used it to have 3 behind the goals cameras installed which is explained below by Simon Reinsch (Football Technology Coordinator). He has also given you a link to see how the vision is seen by the players & coaches.

“The three behind goals cameras installed at the RFC training facility are imperative for the coaches to view and analyse training/games in order to teach the players what they are doing wrong or right to get the best possible results.

Controlled by joysticks from an office in the building, the high definition cameras are streaming through extremely clear vision from a high angle behind each goal and one wing every training session.

In order to analyse training properly the coaches need to be able to see all players in a drill, where they are running, how they kick, what structures they are setup in, etc...in order to teach the players.

The new cameras give a massive advantage being able to cover the whole ground and still maintain the quality to view which player is which.

This is the same technology used in the stadiums behind the goals and wide side angle vision.

In such a cutting edge industry it’s important to be up with the times in technology as any advantage (small or large) can make a difference, especially when it directly effects the way coaches are able to coach.”

This is a link that you can send out: PM me if you want the link and password

There is a password you need to view it which is:  see above

This is just to make sure not too many people are just viewing this on a public site.

Well done on a fantastic year to you all and the way the Tigers are going at the moment there are many more good years to come.
