Apart from the melee fines (see melee thread), no suspensions from the MRP. Trengove's bump on Jack was cleared.


Contact between Melbourne's Jack Trengove and Richmond's Jack Riewoldt from the fourth quarter of Sunday's match was assessed. The ball was loose and Riewoldt was bending down to pick it up. As the Richmond player comes to the ball, Trengove comes from the side and slows as he approaches his opponent, before making contact with a  bump. After viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the Richmond Football Club, it was the view of the panel the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
