Is Lonergan even fit? He's been in and out of rehab all preseason and has only played a couple of games back for Coburg. Arnott unlucky

Sheesh Lonergan. Only got the gig because it is his old side.
Will either be a master stroke or a complete flop.
Will be happy for him to have a game like Andrew Browne did in Dreamtime 2011.

White, Jackson and Lonergan are all a similar type of player-low skill set, dour. It appears we have gone in with a very defence oriented team.

Jackson is a defending (not meaning he plays in defence) tagger, they are not the same.

We keep playing one to two talls less than we should. Especially down back we struggle against resting rucks and tall forwards. We were lucky Gawn couldn't kick last Sunday. Won't have the same luxury with Ryder and Bellchambers.
Would have rewarded Arnot as he has had a far better season than Lonergan. I thought you had to earn your senior position?

Spot on Yellow and Black. We should have given McGuane the flick, retained Stephenson, and had the luxury of either he or Maric dropping back on the resting ruckman, while the other goes forward.

Wouldn't surprise if there is a late change

McGuane supposedly had a sore knee after last week, perhaps he might not come up and A Edwards will get a go

That would be a good change for mine.
