Has A Edwards had a crack?

Hasn't done anything but you can see his really trying hard. Is that good or bad though?

The last goal of newys was a direct result of a Edwards pressure. Would like to see him leading hard up through the 50m paint a bit more.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Great qtr of football tiges :clapping as complete as I've seen from us. Ran hard both ways, bottled it up when under pressure, broke fwd into space hard and pressured the eagles as completely as I've seen from us. Tackling has been hard and strong consistently. No passengers that's what u want.
x2

Our best quarter in terms of standard, intensity, run and pressure since the 2nd qtr against Carlton in round 1.

Now unlike that game and a number this year, we've got to back it up in the 3rd qtr and 2nd half. Come out in the first 10 mins and go for the kill rather than sit back, come out half asleep and stupidly try to just hang on.

X3
Need to back up with another great quarter in the third.
Reminding me of the Carlton game in Round 1.

A Edwards has compete d a couple times on the wing and made some vital spoils. That otherwise would have resulted in possession for them. Kudos for this.

Almost the perfect quarter of footy.

Need a BIG KPF, but other than that, wow

Agree re KPF. I would have loved Elton or Griff to be in the side. As for the effort....it's what they need to do every week.....and keep playing attacking footy FFS!

Was Newy's second on the wing when he marked or in the center from a handball from King? Cause I didn't see Edwards do anything in either of them unless Edwards made a block for Newy to get clear and I missed it.
