From BF:

Coburg won by 8 (sic - 10 pts) after giving up the lead half way through the last quarter.

A tough day for the big guys but they all played pretty but finished poorly. McBean kicked 1.4 (sic - he kicked two) and Griff kicked 0.3.

McGuane was very good

Best were Nahas, Stephenson, McGuane, Astbury and Arnot. All did enough to warrant a senior game.

Griff played well despite his poor kicking. Must be played forward as he always look a threat up there.

A great disappointing win!

McBean, how many goals this year?

Would play him and Griffiths against Adelaide.

Fast forward to 2014 and this game Coburg -v- Bendigo will be a ripper, reckon it will be Bendigos first win as a stand alone team  :rollin :rollin

As for 2014 and Richmond's stand alone VFL tema, get use to these results folks, wins aren't going to be the focus development will be the main theme   ;D

Got to the game about 5 minutes in .Ground was ok but heavy.(ok folks will summarise as I saw it)
Coburg dish up the same crap Richmond do.Turnovers and very inaccurate in front of goal.Very unfair to blame the Coburg listed players for the standard of football, our boys just as guilty.
Thought big Oren played well and with passion
Nahas got a lot of the footy but kept slipping over and got nailed a few times. Also very ordinary from a set shot(but we all know this).
Arnott won some good footy ,but his kicking is ordinary ,missed, running into an open goal from less than 30 metres out directly in front. One incident for me highlights why I still have question marks. This happened right in front of where I was standing, had the ball on the boundary line and instead of choosing to go down the line he chose to go inside to where 2bendigo players were waiting to tackle him...He once again chose the physical contest rather than perecentage one.
Loved Astburys game, played the second half injured ,but won crucial contests, spoiled well all day,and used good judgement when delivering the ball.
Mcbean presented well ,but not a good day for tall forwards.
Griff very ordinary early on but got better and took some good marks by the end..crap kicking by him though
Conca  was excellent .won lots of ball, and received lots too.turned it over once or twice ,but good game overall
Ohanlon....fellas I really don't see what you guys see in him...to me his game was meh,as it is most of the time I see him play(but hey I'm just a punter)
Derryx-battled hard .Darou solid, competes well and hard at it.
Don't know who else I have missed

Thanks G, from that summary we are stuffed for depth and the only good news is Conca, how much of the game did he play?

The only thing deep at Coburg is the mud in the centre of the ground and the Merri Creek after the deluge on Friday night.
