Cant wait till after the bye to see Pettard, Lonergan, Jackson and Grigg in the same side

Our very own 4 horsemen of the apocalypse

Yep, I forgot to add Nahas, White and McGuane  :gotigers

Or perhaps the secret 7

Eagles will win by 6 goals at least. Our team is slowly being transformed into Recycled Central.  :banghead

Totally agree with this to many rejects.Dimma has gone back on his words players that cant kick wont be recruited to.

We don't need to go back to the Gus days Lozza, we could just play O, who has shown he can win us a few tapouts and give our mids a bit of a blockout.

Big O beat Jamar lol but got mauled by Essendon. Reckon if O was in the ruck Natanui would have an absolute field day

Big O didn't play against Essendon. He played really well against Port on debut, got touched up a bit against Jamar and was dropped immediately to make way for a still underdone Maric.

Yep actually realised what I said after I logged off and went to bed  :lol. Just reckon an under done Maric provides more consistency than O

Let's face it, Big O is poo. Maric is average but he's injured which makes him poo. Gus was poo. Browne was poo. Our ruckman are poo. Question is why? Development or recruiting? Both?

Given whom Dimma talked about today, you would reckon Az Edwards and Arnot will come in.

Are final teams still announced today even though it's a Monday game?

A. Edwards
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

"Rucks:
Shaun Hampson is the No.1 man"

definately recruiting,
only time we have used agood to  reasonable pick on a young  ruckman has been a genuine hedge.
vickery at 8 ruck or forward.
mcbean 33 skinny skinny kid who may or may not bulk up to ruck size. ruck or kpp.
putt 51 another skinny kid  who was also borderline ruck or kpp.
under jackson we havent invested a decent pick on a genuine ruckman.

mature rucks
derickx at pick 63 a mature player from the wafl he did what at claremont to warrant us taking him in the nd. have to admit i liked what i saw of him  at claremont.
graham big bodied ruckman who had no talent we rookied him geez thats an investment.
browne we rookied a big bodied kid but again he was a rookie picck where the odds say they wont make it.
maric at age 26 we used pick 37. he at least had some genuine size. and has proven to be an astute pick.
stephenson 31 yo genuine sized ruckman another rookie pick but like graham a hack.

our ruck stocks
maric 27yo genuine size.
stephenson - 31 yo good size but lacking  a battler and nothing more than cover. should not have been drafted.
derickx - 25yo who has done absolutely zilch should have been delisted last yr.
vickery - well he aint no ruckman and hes struggling to be a kpp as well looking like a wasted top 10 pick more and more.
mcbean - again he looks like a kpp rather than a ruckman.
imo we have just one decent and genuine ruckman on the entire list and hes 27.

at seasons end its obvious what we need to do

delist stephenson, delist derickx
.
target a  genuine young ruckman with our first or second round pick.  ffs no bloody string beans who may or may not become a ruckman.

target a mature ruckman 24  + yo from another club or from the state leagues.   would have the feelers out for scott lycett  and callum sinclair at wce.  would also be asking about jeremy mcgovern kpf while we were at it.
how about we give em rance for lycett and mcgovern.

target a young ruckman in the rookie draft.would love us to have a serious look at cam symonds from e/freo.

that basically  represents  2 mature ruckmen. two   juniors /developing ruckmen, plus mcbean and vickery as kp/2nd ruck options.
