:lol Owl.

Seriously though, Jackson had 17 kicks tonight. How many of them sailing 5 feet over the outstretched arms of his intended target- if indeed he was kicking to a target at all. Perhaps he keeps deliberately kicking it to the 'hole' created by the leading player, and it's just the rest of the teams fault for not leading into the 'Jackson hole'.

Lets not beat around the bush.

Jackson, as per usual was rather crap skill wise and decision making.

Cunning idea, the game plan should include leading into this area whenever he has the pill or using it as a diversion. have the player he is aiming for draw the defender and another player drop into the 'Jackson's Hole', as long as it isn't out of bounds, to take the finger tips off the grass worm burner mark

For a rebuild to have us on the verge of success you have to have created a list capable of winning a flag. Does anyone believe that this list can win a flag or has created a  foundation for winning a flag? I dont believe either of those things yet. This list doesnt have the ability to win a flag and their is not enough stars on the list yet to create the basis for winning a flag. We are still 3 or 4 A graders short IMHO. We are 7th on the ladder.

By playing the younger guys on the list like Dea we will find out. We need to keep hitting the draft hard to find a couple more A-graders and hope a couple of youngsters develop from promising 1st-3rd year players into A-graders.

If the club can conjure up a couple of early picks in the draft and Jackson can get us another couple of the quality of Vlastuin then I think we can start to discuss the possibility for having the foundation for winning things down the track. 2013 National Draft is huge opportunity for Richmond FC.

Would love us to try trade into the draft. Not sure what we could offer but we're starting to get some quality players on the list and they're maturing. Package a pick and a player like we did with Graham. Griffo might have some currency. If you could get what we paid for him I'd take it and run.

Unfortunately Adelaide have no picks for us to swindle this year.  ;D

We'll have to settle for snagging Vince via FA. ;)

Vince isn't a FA though according to the list so must be still contracted.

Spot on.

If we can find replacement s for the like of (or at least some of)

Jackson. Grigg. Mcgaune. 0rren. Lonergan. Nahas. Pettard. Derick

Then the list looks in good nick.
