I don't mind them playing Elton and Griff together in the back line.  It would be good for them to develop some chemistry together as a defensive unit.

Why not as bleedin forwards where they made their name as two of the hottest prospects in the country ::)

Griff did.  Not so sure for Elton.  Thought he played down back as a kid and as a utility type. Was very mobile as a junior.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

watching norths tall forwards tear us a new one did nothing to dampen the appeal of a 200cm (or there abouts) backman who can hold their own in a marking contest
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Final Scores

Coburg      7.11.53
Frankston 14.13.97

Goalkickers: Arnot 2, McGuane 2, Tuck, Thomas, Nahas

Best: Arnot, Tuck, Lonergan, McGuane, Petterd, Venditti
Not a great result. Very poor when you consider how many afl listed players were playing.

Still got a long way to go to get to Geelong's level.
Not a bad result when you take Lordo's 7 goals off them and give 'em to us and it's a 7 goal win to us.  :clapping
