I meant Casboult actually not Hampson. Either way they have a lot of talls with those two and Kreuzer/Warnock. Should grab one IMO.

Warnock for ruck. Gets plenty of hitouts at 206/103

As for Duigan... seriously? I think he could handle a mortgage playing on any AFL list/wage. It's not like Carlton is hours away from Richmond or wherever he's bought. Know where Big O lives? lol

Not saying that he is staying at Carlton as a fact, just saying that he has just bought a joint (I think it might be still to settle) in the area of Princess Park and I highly doubt he would have done or so been approved of the loan if he was about to be out of contract and had no idea if another from anywhere was coming. Reckon he has already signed but there just hasn't been any fanfare for a fringe player.

I doubt the bank would deny him a loan based on his contract or lack thereof. They can only go on your current/recent pay.

Duigan has played one solitary game this year. I've heard he's in poopoo.

would relly like laidler make an ideal third tall.
as for trading a decent mid for a decent mid what does it get us.nothing.
we need to add to what decent mids we have not tread water or we will forever be stuck with the likes of jackson white etc crapping up the team.

Jackson has been one of our best this year and provides essential toughness. White is having a great impact as a sub. Played very well for 3 quarters last week.

I swear you must watch with one eye closed, your posts are that far off the mark...

sad but true, Both made their share of characteristic errors but they were not the reason we lost, by a long shot.

what does it say about our more favored players when they are shown up by "hacks" in tough games?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

are they its this sort of blindness that keeps me posting.

of course white and jackson have at times played some decent footy but ordinary in describing them is being kind. with such limited players in the team we will for ever be a middling team.
what is undisputable with these hacks is their very best is passable but the slightest fall away from their best and they become massive liabilities.
when our better players are held they are incapable of filling the void.

i swear some supporters are only capable of seeing what our players do well and totally ignore the constant stuff ups.

I wonder if we could get anything out of Yarran, damn he's quick but he goes missing for games.  I don't think Malthouse is his type of coach but you never know.  Would Hardwick be the right type of coach for him?  He'd be a big upgrade on guys like White if he was consistent.

They won't be trading Gibbs or Kreuzer according to Mick.

Quote
CARLTON coach Mick Malthouse is adamant AFL No.1 draft picks Matthew Kreuzer and Bryce Gibbs won't be released, calling them "untouchable''.

Carlton are two games outside the top eight heading into Saturday night's match against St Kilda at Etihad Stadium.

Their inconsistent form has sparked speculation about whether the Blues might use Kreuzer and Gibbs as trade bait at the end of this season.

"I can categorically tell you that Gibbs and Kreuzer are untouchable - I don't know how plain I can make that,'' Malthouse said on Friday.
