Reckon Hardwick will need to bite the bullet at some stage and send him to true full forward and force Freo to leave him one out by having players back with him.
Vickergirl needs to do a bit more to help also

Pretty obvious really, every time Jack actually controls the goal square and stays there he kicks goals  and we have multiple goal kickers. Damien, do what Buckly does with Cloke!!
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

I reckon if its wet we leave Lids at FF and Jackmas the lead up 80 out with Vickery pinch hitting in the ruck with his fwd role. That way we  can hopefully negate the Crowley tag.

would rather they are paying overs to the likes of cotchin than overs to the likes of jackson white houli grigg nahas king mcguane etc etc etc etc etc.
we have to pay the minimum it may as well be to those who go okay.

just on jack he will continue to frustrate us until we find a decent foil for him.vickery lol they dont come softer.edwards well we arent talking medium sized players here we are talking talls.

simple truth is we cant afford to lose riewoldt even if we wanted to.the truth is we desperately need to find at least two more quality talls to help him out and build on what we have.

i look at adelaide and think to myself how good have they been with drafting talls when you consider the number they have lost to f/a trade and injury.

can just see em next yr with an improving lynch as a third tall, walker in a key post and the promising jenkins.while we at richmond persevere with bums like vickey mcguane and the claytons tall edwards.
the truth is if we lose riewoldt we lose the only decent tall forward we have warts and all.

If the number Cotch is supposedly getting is that high and I'm always weary of journos and their guessing I must say I am slightly miffed that it is that high, for the reason tigs2011 said, that is sprouting about players needing to make sacrifices to stay together and then not look like you've done it yourself. Doubt the Club asked him to take a cut   ;D :rollin

Lets hope enough people take pay cuts to make it work but if the journos are right (I know what you're gonna say ;D) what Cotch is on and Dusty and Jack are asking for ~25% of our salary cap is going to them  :help

I can't see a future for the likes of Nahas and McGuane unfortunately for them. They will free up money, probably $200-300k/year each. We will find the money to keep Jack and Martin. Just a matter of not overpaying them too much IMO, bad precedent to set for the rest of the playing group.

lets say martin is definately going. we have a choice let him slide into the draft and recieve nothing or demand we get a fair trade going.
we want dom tyson,  so tyson plus a reasonable pick say their 2nd  rounder.trouble with this is they have first pick in the nd and if they hang onto it have us over the proverbial barrel.

lets hope if dusty goes  he  insists we get fair compensation like judd did when he left wce.

But I'll play along just this once despite the game being pointless

We would want pick 1 end of story, not Dyson and a 2nd round pick

Has to be pick 1 because that means we get some kid called Tom Boyd who by all reports is going to be a gun

But as I've said many many times he wont be going so it's all a mute point really  ;D

as most people know im a huge wrap for tyson given a little time and a clear run with injury i reckon he will be every bit as good as martin if not better.

on boyd i have two big concerns on what ive seen of him.
1/ like griffiths hes a man mountain playing against boys im not real sure what to make of his performances because of it.impressive as they are.
2/ what ive seen of him and unlike 5 or 6 yrs ago or so i dont see much of the kids anymore and its becoming less and less every yr, based on what ive seen he seems to be very much a mark kick player to me.  he obviously has great agility decent  pace for a bloke his size etc but based on what ive seen hes too one dimensional. on this though i have to go by what others are saying and they are wrapping him up. as usual happy to put it out there.

ya know if jack stays and i reckon he will,  and boyd is half as good as most think it would be a great combo and place us  on a level playing field with a lot of other clubs in the key forward stakes.
