On form you would take Roughead at the minute.

What is the old saying about form and class. On form you'd take Ben Marsh over Ivan Maric

Roughead is averaging 4 goals per game over the past couple of months. He's kicked 75 goals in a season before and looks to be heading towards a similar tally this year. As a former pick 2 in the 2004 draft, he's hardly never been rated.

Roughie's gone past buddy now - not just form.

So what? Franklin has kicked over 100 in a season before and was clearly the best forward in the game last year when on the park. Playing injured this year. But yeah, we wouldn't take him at Richmond over Roughead or anyone else :lol

why laff?  Roughead > buddy this year and last year. Best big man in the game atm. Goes into the ruck and smashes them, goes into the centre bounce as a ruck rover and kills them. Can go back to CHB too.  Total package.

Goes missing. He can take 5 marks and kick 3 in 10 minutes. What's he doing for the rest of the game? Plays better without Franklin but Franklin is a better player. Always has been and always will be. Not sure Roughead was anywhere near Buddies level last season.

If they did that draft right now unbelievably I reckon Griffen would go number 1 ahead of Buddy , Roughead and Lidsy

Spent more time in the ruck last season as Bailey was out for most of the season and thought he had a massive impact especially in the second half of the season. Buddy is the most gifted player in the afl, but for whatever reason has plateaued the past few years. Maybe its injury, time will tell but looks to me as though players have gotten fitter and faster the past several years especially so his athletic prowess is not as dominant as it once was.

When daicos would kick 5 from 5 kicks did u ask why did he only get 5 kicks?  ;D

In all fairness that was one of my gripes about him in his early years, would often go through games with 5-7 possessions and would escape any criticism bc he'd kick a couple of cheapies. But he's grown now, he takes games and breaks them

No, because that's 5 goals. Roughead does most of his damage in one quarter. Not fit to shine Franklins shoes. Not many are. Would still love either of them at CHF in our side.
