Interesting that freo are resting about 10 players. Everyone else seems to be going with most regulars. Someone on here a few weeks ago said news ankle was worse than first thought, seems they were on the money.

Yes I was

Would we have 10 blokes to bring in if we rested 10

I blame the 1 point loss to Freo not the loss to Carlton

Newy will be fine IMO. Good players don't forget how to play. He'll be fit enough.

Jack being rested.

Tuck being played IMO, not farewelled.

Big O 2nd ruck to give Maric a chop out and get some legs in case he's needed next month.

And I didn't see Bellchambers on the Essendon team although I may have missed him entirely.

Agree. Newman will be right for finals. No point risking him. Good move to give Jack a week off. Hopefully if Tucky plays well will get a spot in the finals.

Maybe they thought it was more important for him to get their best defender against the worst team in the league?  :-\

All our other mids outside our 22 are injured but I agree Bents we need to add classier midfield depth.

Looks like we're back to trying the two big ruckmen strategy with both Ivan and the Big O in the side unless we're planning to rest Ivan at the last minute.
