By 2017 Richmond should be selling 100,000 memberships per year (game entry memberships) and say 25,000 non game memberships for a total of 125,000 memberships IMHO.

Yes I'd like to know why they have more than us as they're a small club

Hawthorn's high profile supporters usually contribute to the club by buying multiple memberships at the insistence of the club's board.

So instead of donating $50,000 they might instead buy 100 memberships for example.

So their membership tally is usually inflated somewhat.

Plus they won a flag I guess that helps too...
