Fancy Jackstar telling us it is easy to pot players.

You people are disgusting.

He wasn't my favourite player and the trade was a bust but he was still a Richmond player and deserves our respect.

Has still busted his arse for our club more than anyone here has.
No he didn’t, let’s not kid ourselves.  He was a free loader and stole from our club by staying when he clearly wasn’t up to it. I mean mostly everyone (with a brain) knew that this hack struggled to execute the basic skills of the game. He should of retired after his first year.
The bloke that recruited him to the club should be reminded every day how stupid he was to think that one of the worst players ever to play the game could come to our club and miraculously all of a sudden be able to kick, mark and handball. Mind boggling decision!  :banghead

Today is one of the greatest days in the history of the club that this hack from the Scum Cheats (who are still laughing that we wanted to trade for him when everyone & his dog knew he was going to be delisted) is finally gone and goes onto the long list of useless players that were blessed to be given the privilege to wear our great jumper.
The club that keeps giving.

 :bow :clapping exactly this

I don't understand the whole "they did more for the (insert entity) than you so no criticism is allowed. Members pay for his salary and he is not only crap but a complete liability. He would hardly get more than 10 disposals a game and even had some one disposal games. He is the trust definition of a list clogger. Any decent person would not take a $300K job while producing nothing.

All the other favourite whipping boys like Ellis, Grigg, Houlihan have some redeeming values. Ellis has a tank, Houlihan breaks lines and has a deep penetrating kick. Hell even Grigg is a better ruckman and is better around the ground. Hampson offers nothing.

LOL Grigg a better ruckman.

You are kidding yourself.

Hampson was an excellent ruckman.

His problem was he offered very little around the ground.

Would take a 300k job to do nothing faster then you can say Shaun Hampson.

Depends who's paying the salary. I am happy to disclose I get <80K a year and I have worked a biomedical researcher in stroke research for the past 10 years. If someone offered me a $300k a year salary tomorrow would I take it? Yes. Would I do nothing and sit on my arse while accumulating said money? No

So true , easy to pot players
Hammer gave his best
Had a solid 2016 against the odds
Terrific clubman who will be missed
Not one player speaks ill of Hammer
All the best

Hello?

I am not sure how voicing an opinion in that he should have retired at the end of last season when his injury was so debilitating is potting him

Jack, you better than anyone would know how bad the injury was. He had basically no chance of making it back, to suggest otherwise is foolish. Apart from being contracted, seriously what was the point? Sorry but I don't get it

I've wished him all the best for the future (as I do with all players when they retire) and I meant it.

His recruitment was a massive error as far as footy is concerned. Won plenty of tap outs but unfortunately they mostly went to the opposition. Happy he finally made the right decision as he was cooked 2 years ago.
