Was there on Sunday.

Foley was OK, only three of his passes hit the target! They were only 15-20 metre kicks! I like Foley and would love to see him break the lines more often! I question his pace as he didn't show that on Sunday.

Coburg aren't good!

Helbig, I would play him in a back pocket or a tagging role. He is tough at the football.

O'Hanlon, good long kick, nice marker, needs to get a bit more of it.

McDonough, he has a go and was good.

Lennon, just play this cub on the half-forward line! He has class about him which we need!

King, no influence!

McBean, Elton: disappointing! Didn't get much of it!

Darrou, OK, has promise!

Miles, he got more clearances then the whole Coburg players! He reads the tap well!

Stephenson, does nothing around the ground, just wins the hit-outs. Doesn't jump to mark a football and is always grounded.

A few VFL "top-up players" are good!

Richmond VFL coach Tim Clarke's summary:

VIDEO: http://www.afl.com.au/video?guid=633310

and Clarke's summary of how our AFL-listed players performed against Coburg:

Nathan Foley
Was fantastic, providing real spark early in the game. A quality midfielder at AFL level and continues his impressive attitude and work ethic in the VFL. Although his performance was just standard by his measures, those watching the game thought he was exceptional.

Brett O’Hanlon
Great to see O’Hanlon find some form. He’s a beautiful user of the ball and works really hard. Kicked an important goal in the third quarter against the momentum.

Anthony Miles
Was again the Tigers’ best ball-winner, and has been outstanding inside over the last six to eight weeks. Every time he plays he gets clearances and really helps to get the ball to the outside players.

Ben Lennon
Still developing really well and is playing through half back and the midfield area at the moment. A beautiful kick, but still needs to work on choosing the right option. Likely to show his face at senior level in the next three or four weeks.

See the best photos from Round 2.

Todd Banfield
Didn’t have his best game this week. Has been playing a variety of roles, both forward and back, over the last few weeks. Will look for a big performance from him this week.

Jake King
Worked tirelessly as a forward during the game. Provided much needed pressure and caused a heap of turnovers. He hit the scoreboard once but could’ve kicked two or three goals on the day.

Brad Helbig
Was fantastic across half back and through the midfield, provided plenty of hardness and hit his kicks this week. He set the scene in the second half in terms of his defensive acts.

Kamdyn McIntosh
One of the best games he’s played for the footy club. He had a negating role on one of their key players and managed to get 22 touches himself, and have three shots on goal. A real breakthrough performance.

Liam McBean
Was exciting in patches but the game wasn’t really for key forwards, and he didn’t really have much of an impact on the game. He had a couple of shots on goal but we expect more.

Matt McDonough
Was very good through half back and midfield, providing plenty of exciting run and carry. Was very good around the ball with very clean hands and was able to get the ball to the outside players.

Orren Stephenson
Was fantastic, finishing the game with 62 hitouts. Didn’t get a heap of the ball around the ground, which he can do, but he was one of the best players in terms of impact.

Todd Elton
Competed hard all day and was unlucky a lot of times on the lead. Seems like he’s not too far from a breakout game and helps Orren out in the ruck at different stages.

Ben Darrou
Another terrific game, holding a strong position down back. Turned over many balls and ended up with 25 touches, which is an outstanding job for a full back.
