At least we know Nank is more useful in the F50.

Soldo I have to say has been good at kicking his obligatory goals from 20m out when he draws a free or takes a random mark (most recent volley aside), but beyond that I wouldn't want him anywhere near the goal square compared to Nank or Chol.

Previously wasn't in favour of the Nank/Soldo combo, but Soldo really has come along some this year. I've changed my mind and wouldn't mind trying it vs Carlton.

Except for what I said only two days ago in another thread:

Nank & Slomo in the same side 🐌🐌 :shh

Good to see you are still about Diode and have made an appearance on THIS thread.

Soldo is still just a “fill in” IMO.

He has been competitive in the ruck since coming in but let’s be honest he isn’t a footballers hole.

The sooner Nank is back the better.

Nank and Chol is the way forward.

Slomo's still a slow, plodding dud regardless of what thread the fact is stated in... :shh

Our best tap ruckman and best option  to combat the monster rucks in the afl who always kill Nank and struggles with.

...and yet Gawn still slaughtered him and was the only Melbourne player to receive multiple coaches votes.... :shh

If Chol can get rid of his lay-down-sally routine late in games we wouldn’t be talking about Soldo at all unless as just a reserve ruckman.

Keep Soldo and bring in Nank.  Nank can play the Chol role up forward better then Mabs.
Nank is a gun, be great to have him back.

Was fantastic today. I’m sure his detractors will still find something negative to point to.

Nank is still undoubtedly our no.1 ruck for me, but I’m now a lot less pessimistic over how we would go without him.

Ordinary first quarter to be honest which gave the Eagles a couple of soft goals. However, improved markedly after that and clearly had the better of Hickey especially after half-time. 12 disposals, 6 clearances, 40 hitouts & a goal (and robbed of another) if a top return from Ivan.
