Judge you must really see something in Brad, because the countless reserve games I have seen he has shown to be a consistant ball winner and hard it too,but currently he seems light years away from Houli.one area in particular he seems miles behind is his run and carry

I think he's got spunk. I reber an early game someone triedto go him and he jumped up like a cut snake

He is a good kick and I was apprehensively posting that due to the run and carry part of the game.

Outside lids houli is maybe our best - perhaps we will evolve to hawthorn style lethal kicking and houli won't be essential. I still think he's too soft for the back line , butbhes got talent

Wasn't McBean taken with our 3rd rounder?
nope the beaner was taken at pick 33 a second rounder.

im pleased to see helbig given another yr.hopefully he has an injury free preseason and 2014 season and he can prove he belongs on the list.
lets face it brad is 22 before a ball is bounced it is time to put up or get the chop.
i do like him as a player and he just needs to make the transition from vfl to afl if possible.
i would dearly have loved for us to play him off hb when we first got him. i still think he would make a good defender or run with player.

I'd  be happy to let him go TBH. His toughness is his only above average attribute. McDo and Lennon much better.

I concur I'd prioritise Lennon and donuts in the starring 18/21. They should be developing next to miles vlastuin conca martin etc.

However I don't think helbig would be going for the same spot in the side, or list. Geigg. Houli. Foley. Pettard. Thomas. Types come to mind. Helbig may only be slightly above average toughness. But we got a fair few below average

Makes Lonergan & Thomas look like silk. Positively JON-like.
