Guys,
If I'm not there just start without me.

That's a given.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

You know you dont have to take part in this, right? You can just stay at home and bitch online if you'd prefer.
Geez, you lot just look for things to moan about. You're embarrassing. Not RFC.
Some people might actually enjoy this. God forbid the club try to improve match day experience for the fans. Oh wait, lemme guess you guys know better....
i think it a great idea moby will. but can you really blame supporters !!!!! just maybe some have had enough of the gimmics over the yrs and just want the footy to do the talking for us.

Miles, a fit Lids (was on one leg last time) Rance and Maric in the side that were missing last time. No more Waite, Garlett, Bettes or Robinson for them (always had games of their career vs us).

Very confident

I guess it almost won't matter that we have a bunch of guys who can't win one on ones, this time.

Andre Everitt and Liam Jones to be the new one game high performers against us, will both play like Ablett on steroids only to be dropped two rounds later :)

Malthouse said Gibbs, Yarran and Warnock will all play.

The Carlton coach also said former Giant Kristian Jaksch would make his club debut on Thursday night, while the Blues were likely to name one or two debutants from their 2014 draftees.

Should be no more discussion about this game other than it should be penned in as a win. Everyone is saying that if Hardwick puts his money where his mouth is than this is a win, no excuses.

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Richmond has full-strength team for Round 1 clash against Carlton

Sam Landsberger
Herald-Sun
April 01, 2015 12:17PM

RICHMOND could unleash a full-strength line-up against Carlton tomorrow night as the powerhouse clubs open the 2015 season.

Defenders Chris Newman and David Astbury are both chances to face the Blues as the Tigers aim to register a 10th-straight home-and-away victory.

Coach Damien Hardwick’s side recovered from a disastrous 3-10 start last year to peel off nine consecutive wins before being blown away by Port Adelaide in September.

Hardwick said the Round 1 blockbuster “can’t come quick enough”.

He revealed rookie revelation Kane Lambert and youngster Kamdyn McIntosh were in the frame to debut but selections would be finalised this afternoon.

“We’ve got match committee now, so we’ll finalise our squad but they’ve both trained well, they’ve both put their hands up, they’ve had pretty solid pre-seasons,” Hardwick said.

“There will be some new faces, we’ve just got to make sure we work our way through that with regard to match committee this afternoon.

“I think we’re in for some exciting times with a couple of those fellas you spoke about.”

Astbury and Newman both joined in the light session with the Tigers looking impressively sharp.

Hardwick said Astbury had put his hand up for selection but, like Newman, needed medical clearance to run out on the MCG.

Newman is recovering from surgery to correct an abnormal heart beat and Astbury was in hospital last week after standing on a stingray.

Astbury described the pain of the stingray barb as worse than his serious knee injuries and still has stitches in his foot.

Only Nathan Foley (foot) is unavailable from Richmond’s best side.

Former Geelong tagger Taylor Hunt appears set to make his Tigers debut.

"Dimma non-committal on selection. Says there'll be new faces but no official tick for Lambert or McIntosh. Astbury trained and looked good."

Anyone who has missed every preseason game should comeback via the VFL. You don't risk underdone players in round 1.

By the way, there's rumours on Carlton forums that Miles may be out  :-\. I'd guess we'll find out in 20 minutes.
