Who would you like to see take take the feild Round 1 2006. More so, which fringe players would you lke keepy and cut?
You would hope we would pick up someone in the trade/draft period who would fit straight into and improve our best 22. Tivs and Chaffey the obvious trade offerings. I'll call this player TRADE.

Defence: I'm a bit harsh on Chubba but I went for more skill and run down back. Gas and Hall remain because there's no one else unless we get a good key defender with a trade (unlikely). Thursfield and Bowden can take the 3rd and 4th forward. Sugar to start on a HBF then rotate through the midfield.
Midfield: Added pace although Meyer and Tambling might not be ready yet physically. Hyde and Lids in there as well for pace. Cogs and Tuck to share the bullocking work. Johnson and Lids to relieve them in the rotation. Then there's Browny, Krakouer, Rodan and Foley in the rotation. That makes 11 players in the rotation (12 if TRADE is a midfielder. Newman, Hyde or even Johnson can do the run-with roles in place of Chaffey. Simmonds first ruck with Knobel relieving off the bench.
Forward. A gamble naming Schulz at FF but IMO he's a forward not a backman and the lack of height at Coburg plus a need to work harder is what's stopping him moving up to the next level. The big fella at CHF roaming around as he pleases with Browny and Pettifer the leading midsized smalls.
