Mark Ricciuto in the Adelaide Advertiser ...And Port, well, was that a finals game of football, or was that an “open” training session with black and yellow witches hats?
Seriously, why did Richmond bother making the trip.
They couldn’t have stuffed it up any more.
I can’t wait for someone to ask Trent Cotchin the logic behind his decision to kick into a stiff northerly.
I captained 142 games and never kicked into the wind. The only other bloke I know that did it was my old mate Shaun Rehn when he captained the Hawks one day at AAMI Stadium against the Crows.
By quarter time we were up by eight goals, the game was done and I’ve never let him forget about it.
Maybe Trent should have rung Rehny before he made the same fatal mistake.
Having said that, Port were very, very good.
But like their 103-point win against Carlton a fortnight ago, it’s hard to get a form line when the opposition have such a bad day.
