When you see the hawks at the top of their game like that it makes me sad at how far away we are.

Remember when us and Hawthorn both needed a coach and Wallace chose us because he felt the future was brighter?

What is the number for Lifeline?
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

Gerks 27/6/11

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

13 11 14, any self respecting Richmond supporter should know that already.

Jack you got me intrigued on this
Are you able to elaborate your thoughts on why you think we arent that far off?

If you review what happened from round 13 onwards
Not only we win 9 straight but all the KPI,s show we were Miles ahead of all clubs
Eg Contested Balls etc etc etc
Reckon there will be huge improvement from the group collectively and individually
Think they will trade out to fix areas of need
Think our best back 6 is very good collectively and that's what counts
Round 13 onwards proves that even without Astbury
Forget about what happened in Adelaide
We ain't far off
Thus you can understand the garbage thŕt was dished up for the first 13 rounds and the frustrations from supporters etc
Top 4 is a lock in

Jack must be drunk. Our back 6 showed us what happens when you lose Rance

We are a fair way off from winning a flag

jack do you include Houli,Morris, newman inour best back 6?

Don't single out individuals
You need to look at collectively
Houli had an excellent last 9 weeks I might add
They defended well against Port at Etihad .Essendon .West Coast .Adelaide and both Swans games
( we just couldn't score against the Swans at the G )

We are a half a dozen players away from challenging for a top 4 spot.
Kangaroos are in a similar position to us but have/are improving list by adding experienced, quality players.
Dal Santo a great pick up and Jarrod Waite would be a good pick up for them as they rely too heavily on Petrie dish.
I also just get a feeling that our coaching panel is still a but inexperienced - we have Choco but wouldn't it be great to have another seasoned ex senior coach who has been part of an era in the past 6 or 7 years?
Perhaps a Stewie Dew from the Swans or a current respected Cat or Hawks assistant.
As bad as this sounds, would it be too radical to do a Freo and poach a big fish coach (like Clarkson or Bomber Thompson) to replace Hardwick?
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

The goal is to sustain it, that's what the hawks and Swans have done, we have made the finals twice, can we improve and sustain it.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

We can WAT. We need to improve every part of our football department though. Especially the list.

More to the point Dunstall chose Clarkson, and kept Dermott away from making admin decisions.

Wallace was left with the only other gig in town, and Miller fell in love with 'Sleeping Giant' narrative.
